A different perspective on – How countries look while Pandemic situation
The below data is collected from worldometers.info website on 14-April-2020 23:00 IST
This is just my analogy on how do different country’s portfolio look during a Pandemic situation, and this can be a reference for future Pandemics as well. The data in below table can be refreshed over time, and this is just a temporary analysis and not the final conclusion. The final list can be published once the Pandemic is fully eradicated.
A new column has been derived to calculate the Total Deaths to Recovered Percentage. Which signifies the number of deaths ratio compared to recoveries and its percentage.
The countries are color coded in different meaning.
Green: 0% – They have a good healthy people population and to some extend might be good governance as well.
Light Green: 1-5% – They do have a good healthy population, and to some extend very good governance, since they have large volume of travelers, the impact is unavoidable. Because of the efforts done by Government and people, they faced very minimal impact.
Light Blue: 6-26% – They do also perform well, but due to unavoidable circumstances, they were not able to control the deaths. Compared to other countries, they kept their death count less than the world average.
Orange: 27-100% – 1,373 – They fail to perform good. Both the Government as well as People are not healthy in this region.
Red: >100% – They are the most severely affected places, and majority of population are not healthy and Government also have failed to safeguard their population.
Grey: NA – We can’t derive any conclusion from them, because they haven’t published the total recovered count. And the counts are also seems relatively small.

Conclusion: During the next Pandemic situation, keeping this table as reference, people & Govt, has to take appropriate prior measures. The sick & healthy population can start migrating to Green listed countries if possible.
Note: The above derivation is just a formula and not targeting any specific countries.
Thanks & Happy reading.
